Conference Lisbon-Estoril 6-10 September 2005 (histoire de la chimie)

Dear Colleagues,
 
Attached is the latest version of the Programme of the 5th 
International Conference on the HIstory of Chemistry, on "Chemistry, 
Technology & Society", which will be held in Estoril and Lisbon, 
Portugal, from 6-10 September 2005. On 6 September 2006 there also will 
be a workshop on the histories of European chemical societies, which 
can be attended by others interested in the topic, for an extra fee of 
20 EUR (for lunch, coffee, tea etc.).
 
Please note that the DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT AT A REDUCED 
FEE is 15 MAY !!
 
Those (Ph.D.) students and scholars from Eastern and Central Europe who 
want to make use of our offer of a 50% reduction on the fee + the hotal 
prices of hotel Saboia should contact the conference secretary as soon 
as possible (see email address below). The also should book as soon as 
possible at Hotel Saboia (see details at conference website). The Hotel 
will ask the full price, but the 50% reduction will be reimbursed later 
by the conference organisation.
 
A third circular with the latest information on the conference, 
including the Saturday Programme + the Programme for Accompanying 
Persons will be send in a few weeks. Until then you will find the 
latest information - including all details with respect to registration
