Dear subscribers to 'Reviews in History',
This e-mail contains links to the new review posted today on the
'Reviews in History' webpages by Nicholas Hewitt (University of
Nottingham), of Simon Dell's 'The Image of the Popular Front: The Masses
and the Media in Interwar France'.
Professor Nicholas Hewitt (University of Nottingham), provides a
positive review of Simon Dell's latest book, which traces the history of
the Popular Front in France in tandem with the new applications of film,
photography and radio. Hewitt concludes that this book is a fascinating
and well-researched account of the Popular Front through its own media.
