In response to Jonathan Marshall's email about the Dumas estate, I just wanted to mention the sad news that upon Véronique Leroux-Hugon's retirement at the end of last month, the Bibliothèque Charcot closed. The historic collections (i.e., those related to Charcot and his interns) is being transferred to the Institut du Cerveau et de la Moelle Épinière, also at the Salpêtrière, although Mme Leroux-Hugon did not know when--or even if--they would be available to researchers.

Best,
Natasha
