Industrial Heritage 2011
5th European contact weekend for industrial heritage volunteers and associations
Tilburg (The Netherlands), 14-16.10.2011

E-FAITH, the European Federation of Associations of Industrial and Technical Heritage is the European platform promoting contacts and co-operation between non profit volunteer associations, the place where those can meet, exchange experiences, learn from each other and support each other’s activities and campaigns.

After the succesfull meetings in Beringen, Kortrijk, Barcelona, and Calais each attended by representatives from a dozen countries, E-FAITH is now going to organize a fifth European contact weekend for volunteers and non profit organisations that are engaged in the research, the preservation, the interpretation and/or the presentation of the industrial and technical heritage.

It will again be an open and stimulating meeting where organisations and individuals can present and compare their ideas, projects and results - and find out where cooperation or common projects can grow, how they can support the aims of colleagues and how colleagues can support their objectives. This will be possible by lectures and oral presentations, leaflets, information stands, posters and small exhibits. Each participant is allowed to use the presentation techniques that to him/her seems to be the most appropriate.
The main themes of the meeting will be:
- the Campaign for an European Industrial and Technical Heritage Year
- European bordercrossing cooperation between industrial and technical heritage associations
- twinning between associations
- exchanging experiences from the field
- discussing the possibilities of launching joint European projects
During the meeting there will be visits to the famous Audax Textile Museum, the former railway workshops, the area of the Pius Harbour, etc.

This fifth contact weekend is organised on October 14-16th in Tilburg (The Netherlands)

5e Rencontre Européenne pour les bénévoles et les associations du patrimoine industriel et technique
Tilburg (Pays-Bas), 14-16 octobre 2011

E-FAITH, La Fédération Européenne des Associations du Patrimoine Industriel et Technique (European Federation of Associations of Industrial and Technical Heritage) est le plate-forme européen qui vise à promouvoir les contacts et la coopération européennes entre les associations à but non lucratif, par la mise en place de lieux où elles peuvent se rencontrer, échanger des expériences, apprendre de nouvelles compétences et soutenir les activités des autres associations.

Après les précédentes réunions couronnées de succès (Beringen, Kortrijk, Barcelona, Calais) qui ont accueilli chaque fois des représentants d'une douzaine de pays, E-FAITH organise dès à présent la tenue d’une cinquième rencontre européenne pour les bénévoles et les associations à but non lucratif engagés dans la recherche, la conservation, l’interprétation et/ou la présentation du patrimoine industriel et technique.

Comme les réunions précédentes, cette nouvelle rencontre se veut dynamique et ouverte à toutes les associations et individuels qui peuvent présenter et comparer leurs idées, leurs projets et leurs résultats. Elle peut être également l’occasion de se renseigner sur le développement de coopérations ou de projets communs, sur les moyens de soutenir les objectifs des collègues et comment ceux-ci peuvent aider dans les buts qu’ils se sont fixés. Les participants ont la possibilité de présenter leurs réalisations, leurs activités, leurs projets et leurs objectifs de différentes manières : lectures et présentations orales, brochures, stands d’information, affiches ou petites expositions. Chaque participant est libre de choisir les moyens techniques qu’il juge les plus appropriés pour sa présentation.

Les thèmes principaux de la rencontre seront :
- la Campagne pour une Année européenne du patrimoine industriel et technique
- la coopération européenne transfrontalière entre les associations du patrimoine industriel et technique;
- le jumelage entre les associations;
- l’échange d’expériences de terrain;
- le développement de projets transfrontaliers communs.
Pendant la ces journées de rencontre des visites guidées seront organisées au renommé Audax Musée du Textile, les anciens ateliers ferrovières et au port intérieur de Tilburg

Ce cinquième week-end de rencontres est organisé les 14-16 octobre prochain à Tilburg (Pays-Bas).

5. Europäisches Wochenende zum Erhalt des industriellen und technischen Erbes
an dem sich Freiwillige und Vereine aus verschiedenen Ländern treffen werden
Tilburg (die Niederlande): vom 14. bis 16.10.2011

E-FAITH, die European Federation of Associations of Industrial and Technical Heritage  (der europäische Verband der Vereine zum Erhalt des industriellen und technischen Erbes) ist Ist die Europäische Plattform für Zusammenarbeit und Austausch, wo Freiwillige und Vereine sich treffen, von einander lernen und einander unterstützen können.

In allen Ländern Europas gründen sich die Erforschung, der Erhalt  und die Erschließung vom industriellen und technischen Erbe hauptsächlich auf den Einsatz unzähliger Freiwilliger und nichtstaatlicher Organisationen.

Ohne ihr Engagement wären viele industriearchäologisch bedeutsame Denkmäler,  Gegenstände und Dokumente, Zeugen von der Geburt und vom Wachstum der Industriegesellschaft für immer verloren gegangen.

Ihr uneigennütziges  und unentgeltliches Engagement wird jedoch von Behörden und Instituten noch manchmal  unterbewertet. 

Nach einem drittes erfolgreichen Treffens in Beringen (B), Kortrijk (B), Barcelona (E) und Calais (F), mit Teilnehmern aus 12 verschiedenen Ländern, organisiert E-FAITH, am Wohnende des 14. bis 16. Oktober 2011 ein  5. Europäisches Wochenende zum Erhalt des industriellen und technischen Erbes, an dem Freiwillige und Vereine aus verschiedenen europäischen Ländern neue internationale Kontakte knüpfen können.
Es wird abermals ein offenes Treffen, an  dem Gruppen und Personen ihre Ideen, Arbeiten und Projekte präsentieren und vergleichen können. Sie können auch herausfinden wo es neue Möglichkeiten zum Zusammenarbeiten gibt.  Das geschieht mittels Prospekte, Informationsstände, kleiner Austellungen, oder kurzer Vorlesungen oder Präsentationen.

Die Hauptthemen der Sitzung sind:
- das Europäisches Jahr des Industriellen und Technischen Erbes
- Europäische grenzüberschreitende Zusammenarbeit zwischen Vereine zum Erhalt des Industriellen und Technischen Erbes
- Partnerschafte zwischen Vereine
- Austausch von Erfahrungen 
- Möglichkeiten und Ideen für gemeinsamen europäischen Projekte
Während des Treffens werden Führungen organisiert an der berühmten Audax Textil Museum, die ehemalige Eisenbahn-Reparaturwerkstätten , der Pius Innenhafen, usw.

Quinto Encuentro  Europeo de Voluntarios de Patrimonio Industrial y Asociaciones.
Tilburg (Países Bajos), 14-16.10.2011

En cada país europeo, la investigación, el estudio, la catalogación, la conservación, el desarrollo , la gestión y la interpretación del Patrimonio Industrial y técnico, depende fundamentalmente de las iniciativas y los trabajos de los voluntarios. Sin sus esfuerzos, muchos sitios importantes, objetos y documentos que son testimonios del nacimiento y el crecimiento de nuestra sociedad industrial y técnica, se habrían perdido para siempre.

Pero su trabajo idealista y sin recompensa,  es muy a menudo poco valorado por las autoridades y los institutos oficiales.

E-FAITH, la Federación Europea de Asociaciones del Patrimonio Industrial y Técnico es la plataforma europea que promociona contactos y cooperación entre las asociaciones de voluntarios, es un sitio donde estas asociaciones se pueden encontrar, intercambiar experiencias, aprender unos de los otros y darse soporte mutuo en actividades y campañas.

El fin de semana de octubrere 14-16 del 2011 E-FAITH organiza el Quinto Encuentro Europeo de Patrimonio Industrial y Técnico, donde los voluntarios de los diferentes países se encontrarán y rjarán relaciones transfronterizas.

El encuentro no será una conferencia o congreso tradicional. Será una reunión abierta, donde las organizaciones y las personas podrán presentar y comparar sus ideas, proyectos y resultados, y encontrar la forma de cooperación o ver como se pueden realizar proyectos en común, como se puede ayudar a los objetivos de otros colegas. Esto será posible a través de presentaciones, panfletos, stands de información, pósters y pequeñas exposiciones. Cada participante puede utilizar la técnica de presentación que le parezca mas apropiada.

Después del éxito de los precedentes Encuentros Europeo de Patrimonio Industrial y Técnico celebrado en Beringen (B), Kortrijk (B) , Barcelona (E) y Calais (F),  celebraremos el Quinto Encuentro en Tilburg.

Los Temas principales del encuentro :
-   La Campaña para el Año Europeo del Patrimonio Industrial y Técnico
-   La cooperación europea tras fronteras entre las asociaciones de patrimonio industrial y técnico.
-   Hermanamiento entre las asociaciones.
-   Intercambio de experiencias de campo.
-   Desarrollo de proyectos comunes tras fronteras.
Durante la reunión habrá visitas guiadas en el famoso Museo Textil "Audax", los antiguos talleres del ferrocarril, la zona del puerto interior de Pío, etc

5° incontro europeo per  volontari e associazioni operanti nell’ambito del patrimonio industriale
Tilburg (Paesi Bassi), 14-16.10.2011

E-FAITH (European Federation of Associations of Industrial and Technical Heritage)   una piattaforma europea che promuove relazioni e cooperazione tra associazioni culturali non a scopo di lucro, mettendo a disposizione un luogo d’incontro dove queste possano scambiare le proprie esperienze, acquisire nuove informazioni e conoscenze, darsi vicendevole supporto su progetti o attività .

Dopo il successo degli incontri di Beringen (B), Kortrijk (B), Barcellona (E) e Calais (F), ad  ognuno dei quali hanno partecipato rappresentanti di una dozzina di paesi, E-FAITH sta ora organizzando il 5° incontro europeo per  volontari e associazioni impegnate nella ricerca, salvaguardia e conoscenza del patrimonio industriale e tecnico.

Si tratterà ancora di un incontro aperto e stimolante i in cui sia le organizzazioni che i singoli potranno presentare e confrontare le proprie idee, progetti e risultati, per scoprire  dove possano sorgere prospettive di collaborazione o progetti comuni, come dare un sostegno agli obiettivi dei colleghi e come questi possano  supportare i loro.
Tutto ci sarà possibile attraverso: brevi interventi e presentazioni orali, pieghevoli, materiali e stands informativi, poster e piccole mostre. Ogni partecipante potrà usare la tecnica di  presentazione che riterrà più appropriata.
I temi principali dell’incontro saranno:
- campagna per l’Anno Europeo del Patrimonio Industriale e Tecnico;
- cooperazione transfrontaliera tra associazioni europee operanti nell’ambito del patrimonio industriale e tecnico;
- gemellaggi tra associazioni;
- scambio di esperienze sul campo;
- discussione sulla possibilit  di proporre assieme progetti per bandi europei.
Durante l'incontro visite guidate saranno organizzate al famoso Audax Museo del Tessuto, l'ex officine ferroviarie, l'area del porto interno 'Piushaven', eccetera

Questo 5° incontro si svolger  a Tilburg (Paesi Bassi) dal 14 al 16 ottobre.
