The Italian Association for Industrial Archaeological Heritage (AIPAI), within the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018, organises the General State of Industrial Heritage congress: a three-day event dedicated to discussion and debate on industrial heritage as an essential part of a common heritage culture, from national and international points of view. The event will take place from the 25th to the 27th October 2018 and will include an open and interdisciplinary approach to topics such as heritage knowledge, planning, restoration and development, by accepting papers from diverse fields related to industrial heritage: Universities, Institutes, Associations, Foundations, Companies, independent researchers and enthusiasts. Trois journées sont consacrées aux thématiques liées au patrimoine industriel dans une perspective transdisciplinaire et transnationale. Les journées, qui se dérouleront à Venise et à Padoue du 25 au 27 octobre 2018, prévoient une confrontation ouverte et interdisciplinaire sur les thématiques de la connaissance, du projet, de la récupération et de la valorisation du patrimoine. Les États généraux sont ouverts à toutes les contributions d’acteurs travaillant dans le champ du patrimoine industriel : universités, institutions, associations, fondations, entreprises, organismes publics, particuliers, spécialistes et amateurs passionnés.
