L’étude de la notion interdisciplinaire de symbiose s’est imposée comme sujet de réflexion sur l’identité biologique, son devenir au sein de la relation symbiotique avec un milieu associé (biotique, abiotique, social) et  sur la nature et la diversité des relations symbiotiques. Avec pour méthode la transdisciplinarité, l’idée est donc de réfléchir en traversant différentes disciplines, aux définitions des symbioses dans le vivant et à leurs dimensions heuristique, symbolique voire métaphorique et à la nature et la temporalité des relations symbiotiques entre vivants, y compris avec nos microbes.

SYMBIOSES, transdisciplinary prospects 

June 8 and 9, 2023

The study of the interdisciplinary notion of symbiosis has become a subject of reflection on biological identity, its becoming within the symbiotic relationship with an associated environment (biotic, abiotic, social) and on the nature and diversity of symbiotic relationships. Using transdisciplinarity as a method, the idea is therefore to reflect, across different disciplines, on the definitions of symbioses in living organisms and their heuristic, symbolic and even metaphorical dimensions and on the nature and temporality of symbiotic relationships between living organisms, including with our germs.

The main language of the conference is French, but three papers are in English (Javier Suarez Diaz, Scott Gilbert, Hub Zwart).
