Objet : 16th Ecology & Behaviour meeting - Communication

Description : Liste de diffusion des informations du 16ème colloque Ecology & Behaviour. Organisé du 26 au 30 Août 2024 au Centre d'étude Biologique de Chizé.

The Ecology & Behaviour (E&B) conference is a scientific conference focusing on ecology, evolutionary biology and animal behaviour. It is held in a French city with one or more laboratories in the field. Since 2005, the event has been organised by doctoral and post-doctoral students belonging to the Association des rencontres Ecology & Behaviour.
And this year the conference is back at the Centre d'Etudes Biologiques de Chizé (CEBC) from 26 to 30 August 2024 for its 16th edition!
This year, the themes will be: Population dynamics, Ecotoxicology and ecophysiology, Agroecology, Movement ecology and biologging, Functional and evolutive ecology, Behavioural ecology. The sessions will be introduced by guest researchers who are specialists in a subject. Three of these researchers are based at the CEBC. The other researchers come from European laboratories.

The E&B symposium is organised to give young French and international researchers the opportunity to present their work to a wide audience, and to exchange ideas and forge links within the international scientific community. Unlike most major conferences, where participation fees are often prohibitive for doctoral students, E&B meetings do not require any financial contribution (if you present your work), and you only have to pay for transport.
Your work can be presented as an oral presentation (10 minutes) or a poster, entirely in English to encourage the participation of international students.
Abstract submission is now closed.
